Bergmann Associates Inc. has a significant role in one of the nation's largest public works projects. The 35-year-old Rochester firm has been serving on the engineering team for the state Thruway Authority on the design and construction of the $3.9 billion New NY Bridge in Tarrytown, Westchester County, formerly called the Tappan Zee Bridge.
