Commuters should be ready for additional lane closures on Friday, as work continues on the new Tappan Zee Bridge, according to the New York State Thruway Authority. On Friday, southbound/eastbound traffic on the New York State Thruway near the former Tarrytown toll plaza is scheduled to shift to four newly unobstructed lanes.
