A Queens man, who authorities said roughed up a woman and forced her out of his car in Elmsford last month, now faces assault charges, according to New York State Police. State troopers from Hawthorne and Tarrytown were called to Exit 8A on Interstate 87 about 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, to investigate a report that a woman had been beaten up and shoved out of a vehicle.
