Greenburgh Town Board Approves Acceptance of $1 Million for Land Purchase

Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner sent out the following notice to residents, officials and government staff concerning the Town Board's unanimous vote to accept a $1 million donation for the purchase of land: I am pleased to report that the Greenburgh Town Board unanimously approved a resolution to accept a one million dollar donation offered by AvalonBay communities and Robert Martin Company to be used solely for the purpose of funding the acquisition of undeveloped land abutting Taxter Ridge Park in the village of Tarrytown for dedication and use solely as a public park expansion for all town residents with no acquisition, maintenance, liability or other costs to residents of the unincorporated area of town.
