Hudson Valley's Make-A-Wish Foundation will host its ninth annual Walk and 5K Run for Wishes on Sunday, Nov. 2. TARRYTOWN, N.Y. Coinciding with the New York Marathon, the Hudson Valley's Make-A-Wish Foundation will host its ninth annual Walk and 5K Run for Wishes on Sunday, Nov. 2, at the Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park in Yorktown Heights. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with the race starting at 10 a.m. Walkers and runners are hoping to raise another record amount in the annual community event.
