The early morning shooting death of a woman in Westchester set off an area-wide manhunt and caused six school districts to go into lockout status. The shooting was reported at 7:16 a.m.Tuesday at the Sleepy Gardens apartment complex on Route 119 at 177 White Plains Road, said Tarrytown Police Chief John Barbelet during an early afternoon news conference.
