A Mount Vernon man was arrested early on Wednesday morning after he was found intoxicated following a routine traffic violation. Shortly before 2:30 a.m., Mount Vernon native Bernard Washington, 29, was arrested in Tarrytown, after he was stopped on I-87 for a traffic violation and was found to be intoxicated by New York State Police troopers.
