Chris Clouet , who got his start teaching second grade in Bridgeport and last year was among the names floated for state Commissioner of Education, will become Shelton's new school superintendent, starting in January. Clouet, 57, was most recently superintendent in Tarrytown, New York, a small district 0f 2,900 students.
