Dobbs Ferry's Greetings From Anywhere Performs In Tarrytown, Debuts Album

Greetings From Anywhere, one of Westchester County's most acclaimed original bands, is releasing its long-awaited self-titled debut album on Saturday, Jan. 24, to coincide with their performance at The Set Back Inn in Tarrytown at 9 p.m. Formed in Dobbs Ferry, Greetings From Anywhere blends folk, blues, bluegrass and country into a unique roots-rock hybrid, performing with the gritty, impromptu abandon of a good-old-time garage band. Graceful lead vocalist Sheila Noonan-Gorham, who's steeped in the tradition of Irish music, is joined by a supporting cast with diverse musical backgrounds.
