Spano, a 57-year-old Shrub Oak resident who used to live in Tarrytown, is running for Westchester County Executive, hoping to get the nomination of the Democratic Party. Spano, the son of former County Executive Andrew Spano, ran for the position against his father in 2009 on the Republican ticket but did not get enough petition signatures.
