Now that the westbound span towers of the new Tappan Zee Bridge have reached their maximum height, commuters can expect lane shifts as Tappan Zee Constructors LLC begin work to prepare the site for the future New York State Police Troop T barracks. The shift will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, in the area of the former Tarrytown toll plaza.
