That's the name of a new line of colors, special effects and functional additives available from Tarrytown, N.Y.-based Ampacet, which ranks as one of the world's largest producers of color and additive masterbatch concentrates. The technology creates unique, customizable colors and surface textures in flexible plastic film, officials said in a news release, offering designers the opportunity "to create edgy new products replicating snakeskin's tactile and visual appeal."
