TARRYTOWN, N.Y. Edna M. Shannon, a longtime Tarrytown resident and more recently of Ossining, died Thursday, April 23, at the age of 88. She was born in New York City on Oct. 26, 1926, to Axel T. and Margaret Lindholm Rasmussen. She graduated from Cathedral High School in Manhattan, received her bachelor's degree from Queens College and attended Hunter College and Cornell University to obtain a master's degree in education.
