In Westchester County, new EV charging stations have been installed in the parking lots at the Chappaqua and Tarrytown train stations and at Cortlandt Town Hall. The number of electric vehicles in New York has risen to more than 10,000 plug-in vehicles today from 1,000 in early 2012.
