New Charges In Woman's Fatal Shooting That Caused School Lockdowns

A 28-year-old man recently caught after fleeing by Port Authority police attempting to board a bus to Delaware is facing life in prison following his arraignment for murder in connection to the shooting of a woman in a Tarrytown housing complex that led to numerous school lockdowns in Westchester. Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. announced the arraignment of Cynell Brown, who has been charged with felony counts of second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance and tampering of physical evidence following the shooting of 34-year-old Jessica Wiltse at an apartment on White Plains Road in February.
