Heavy rain, gusty winds and flooding will usher in Mother's Day weekend as a Nor'easter will hit the Hudson Valley. The rain chance starts after in the early afternoon Friday, which will be a mostly cloudy, day with a high near 60. Heavy rain will arrive late Saturday morning, with up to one inch possible on a day in which the high temperature will be around 55. The rain is expected to continue Saturday night into Mother's Day, which will be mostly cloudy with a high in the low-60s.
