It will be slow going on the Tappan Zee this weekend as crews prepare for the next big traffic shift, so leave a little extra travel time, the state Thruway Authority says. Work on the demolition of the deactivated toll plaza on the Tarrytown side of the Hudson span continues after a cashless system took effect last month.
