If you drive by Allan Block Insurance Agency at 24 S. Broadway in Tarrytown, you will find an original English phone booth, complete with a maniquin dressed in a New York Yankees baseball uniform during baseball season, a Sleepy Hollow High School football uniform during football season and a Santa outfit during Christmas. In 1988, Barbara Block's niece was living in London and called her Aunt Bobbie to tell her London was replacing the phone booths and the old ones could be purchased for $300.
