Sens. Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand have announced a federal aid package that will provide more than $6.6 million to various housing projects in the Hudson Valley, including more than $5.3 million for projects in Westchester County. "Having a roof over your head is one of life's basic necessities so we must do everything we can to help provide those truly in need with a place to live," Schumer said in a statement.
