Vienna Boys Choir to Perform at the Tarrytown Music Hall

The world-famous Vienna Boys Choir will perform at the 843-seat Tarrytown Music Hall at 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, 2014 - two days before appearing at Carnegie Hall in New York City. The boys are from Austria and other countries and range in age from 10 to 14. The choir dates back to 1498 when it was created by an order of Emperor Maximilian I of the House of Habsburg; through the years it has collaborated with many great composers and conductors including Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
