Halloween will arrive at the Tarrytown Halloween Parade, led by the Headless Horseman, on Saturday, Oct. 25, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The very first Downtown Halloween Parade occurred on a Sunday in October 2002 with only one marching band and two floats. The idea for a parade took root during the summer of 2002 when Village Trustee Susan Sincero approached Joe Arduino, the director of the village's Recreation Department.
