TBZ Grant Funding Leaves Out 2 River Communities

Two of nine Hudson River communities -- Orangetown and Grand View -- were left out of state Thruway Authority grant funding for waterfront improvements, according to lohud.com. The more than $1.5 million in funding went to Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and Irvington in Westchester County and Piermont, Nyack, South Nyack and Upper Nyack in Rockland.

Man Driving Wrong Way In Westchester Charged With DWI

A man driving the wrong way on I-87 near the Tappan Zee Bridge Saturday morning has been charged with DWI. State Police responded to a report of a wrong way Nissan Xterra traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of I-87 in Tarrytown at approximately 2:34 a.m. Saturday.
